Areas of Concentration

The Center for General Education of KSU, formerly the Department of General Studies established in 1965, was renamed in 1999 as college level unit of the university.

The Center carries out the missions of curriculum design and implementation of general education policies. In other words, the general education program fundamentally seeks to translate the University's overall mission into curricular action. As we concern, a solid general education is truly the foundation for all students to develop in the future.

After all, the general education is intended to provide our students with the capacity for continuous learning, to help them create a more meaningful personal life, and to enable them to become more responsible and effective members of modern society . If it were not for this, the student would be ill prepared for advanced learning and development.
