Extension Division for Inservice Educaion

In compliance with the policy of an overall life education of our country, the night division was officially accredited under the admission of the Ministry of Education in August,1971 and offered 3-year courses in the College of Engineering.In July, 1991, the College of Business was added to the night-school curriculum. In July, 1996, it was upgraded to a Institute of Technology with 2-year program and the night division was renamed Continuing Education Department; thereafter, the in-service education was raised to the university-level. In August, 2000, it was promoted to a university of technology which provides better quality of in-service education in local areas. In August, 2002, continuing education for master was accredited under the admission of the Ministry of Education, moreover, the in-service education was raised to the graduate school-level.

To meet the growing demands of the national economic construction, this department supplies the required courses for both vocational high school and junior college, and a balance between theoretical sciences and practical experiences. With flexibile curriculum schedules, it also provides extensive continuing education , and utilizes the high quality equipment and facilities of this school to meet the needs of the student.

Under the situation of 」learning according to need」, on-the-job students pay high regards to their studies, and greatly improve their professional knowledge through the combination of experience and theory.
