Areas of Concentration

The undergraduate course of real estate management is to provide students the professional knowledge of real estate investment, development and management. Thus the students will be able to meet the requirements by the jobs in relevant fields.

The course is aimed to help the students to be well prepared for their future career. It is designed to enable the students to build the ability of doing research, as well as to gain the practical experiences. The course comprises real estate investment, regulations and management, and the uses of computer software and data analysis. It is also to help students to obtain the professional licenses, such as government officials, agents of land registration, real estate appraiser, and real estate brokers. Students who wish to continue study after graduation can also obtain assistance from the teaching staff for the preparation of examinations.

The department has been constantly trying to improve the quality of the teaching and the facilities. It is planned to provide graduate courses in near future, which is expected to promote the academic reputation of the department.

The main objective is to train students as professionals on real estate management, to convey students with the related knowledge and abilities of real estate development, such as tax regulations, planning and marketing, finance management, land registration and investment.

We expect our students to be able to maintain and upgrade the quality of our national residences.

Superiority

1. Establish the Real Estate Operation and Management Research Chamber to contract the information systems of the trading areas in Tainan Metropolitan and enhance the cooperation with the business.
2. In combination with the present human resources and equipment in Business & Management school to develop the Business Automatic System and provide the better training on real estate information and service communication.
3. Prepare to establish the graduate program.

Graduates from our department will have backgrounds in both fields of business and laws. It offers not only the flexibility of employment but also diversity in advanced studies.
