Core Courses
Core Courses are indispensable training for advanced studies and are necessary for higher-level courses, which are directly related to the major functions performed by managers. These courses are designed to expose the students to the fundamentals of management in international trade.
- Marketing Management
This course will be taught from multi-dimensional perspectives of marketing science. Based on the updated business environment, we will discuss both of the theory of marketing strategy from planning to implementing and practical simulation from case study. The main purpose is to let the students understand both of the theories and the practices of marketing.
- Financial Management
This course introduces two issues in fundamental financial management –investment theory and corporate finance.Through the discussion of different theories such as portfolio theory, theory of security valuation and capital structure theory, students can therefore have basic knowledge of financial management.
- Accounting
This course aims to help students understand GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principle), make financial statements and analyze the financial status of corporations.
- International Finance & Exchange
Firms and individuals have expanded their business and investment activities internationally, making these events increasingly important to all of us. As a result, student interest in international economics has grown considerably. In particular, international financial and monetary economics is a topic of increasing interest because of its focus on how the world monetary and financial system works. This knowledge, in turn aids in understanding the significant global economic events of our age. This course will begin by considering why it is important to understand international money and finance markets.
- Project Research
Discuss the relative regulation and law in the International Trade. The contents include (CISG1988、UCP500、Incoterms1990). To compare the regulation of law about domestic and foreign, and adapt the example to explain them. Hope students understand the basic knowledge of International Trade Law.
- Listening Comprehension
In addition to the textbook, the materials in this course include Bilingual Student Post and English video tapes in hope to inspire students』 interests and talents in English. The students are required to make a 3-minute speech during the class; the purpose of which is to make students to express their opinions in English and provide them the opportunity to speak in public.
- International Trade Practice
The purposes of this course are to improve the abilities of students in writing of business letter and preparing for shipping documents, on the other hand, to help students understand the changing environment by introduction of global business news as well as laws and regulations concerning the international affairs.
- International Business Management
The purpose of the program was let students learned the knowledge and skill to evaluate the influence of environment change to global business.
- International Marketing Management
The purpose of the program was let students learned the knowledge and skill of the international marketing. In the class, the students can discuss the cases to each other. The purpose of the discussion was let the students to understand the concept of international marketing operating.
