  • Database Management System

  • The objective of this course is to endue students the capability of manage database and design database application software. The course outline includes an overview of database management, introduction to Access, database basic operation, Table creation, advanced Table design, index and sort, index and relation, query design, query application, system analysis and normalize, report design, menu design, control object and integration with MS office.

  • Quality Management

  • A management approach that places emphasis on continuous process and system improvement as a means of achieving customer satisfaction to ensure long-term company success.

  • Logistics Management

  • The course objective is to provide students with business logistics process flow and management skill applications. The course outline includes the overview of logistics management, the role of logistics, logistics information and transportation, e-commerce with logistics, logistics inventory system and control, distribution center, logistics management procedure and strategy, facility location planning and global logistics management.

  • Project Management

  • Let students understand the theory and application of project management. This class introduce the contain topics, important, concept, procedure, technical, software, and application issues of project management. The PMP test was also included.

  • Investment Management

  • This course attempts to let the students understand the evaluation and analysis of important investment instruments. It emphasizes the understanding and applications of risk and return analysis, portfolio diversification, technical analysis, and the valuation of bonds, stocks and options. Computer software will be used to help develop various strategies involving options and stocks. It will also be used to facilitate the calculations needed in the analysis of a portfolio. Besides, CAPM and Efficient Market Hypotheses will be discussed.

  • Knowledge Management

  • The research and instruction of knowledge management, transfer, innovation and Data Mining.

  • Electronic Commerce

    1. How does transaction take place over internet ?
    2. How EC is being conducted and managed; its major opportunities and limitations.
    3. How to develop new business model which can be implemented on website.

  • Strategic Management

  • The focus of this program: the nature of strategy, strategic planning, SWOT analysis (including macro environment and task environment), business strategy, functional strategy , and global strategy.

  • Technology Management

  • Contents of the course: 1.Basic concepts of technology management, 2. Technology evolution and economic growth, 3. technology management and business strategy, 4. Procedure of new product development, 5. Creativity and innovation, 6. Technology acquisition and exploitation, 7. Technology transfer, 8. Intellectual properties, 9. Technology planning and forecasting, 10. Competitive strategy for new product, 11.Critical factors in managing technology, 12. Status quo and policy of national technology development.

  • Service Management

  • Service Management would like to discuss operations, strategy, and information technology through four parts. Part one looks at the interactive role that services play in the economies nowadays. The characteristics of service operations and the competitive service strategies could be mentioned also. In part two, we focus on designing the service enterprise, including the service delivery system and e-service to support the competitive strategy. In part three, we proceed to present the daily management of operations to conquer the challenge in matching capacity with demand through some strategies such as the concept of yield management. How to manage waiting lines is discussed from a psychological viewpoint. In final part ,we look at strategies to achieve world-class service.

  • Application of Statistics

  • This course is designed to let the students have more experience of applying Statistics to solve real-world problems, especially business problems . The course is intended to facilitate the understanding and applications of various important statistical concepts and methods. Special emphasis will be put on the applications of ANOVA, regression methods, and nonparametric methods. Computer software will be used to help draw diagrams, make calculations, analyze the result of a design of experiment, and estimate the parameters in a statistical model.
