1. Professional College of Information

   College of Information Technology is aiming to the development, application, and research of relevant information technology.

   The college of information technology in KSU aims to cultivate more Information Technology talents to help the country to reach the goal of e-Taiwan and m-Taiwan. This college has the following missions: to integrate the resources of information-relevant Departments, to catch up the world』s information technology development, to cultivate information technology talents, to develop the most up-to-date information-relevant technology, to enhance our domestic industrial competitiveness, and to utilize information technology to enhance our living quality. Currently the Departments in the college include Institute of Information Management, Department of Information Management, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Information and Communication, and Department of Computer and Communication. The goal of these departments is to teach students how to develop the technology of Information software and hardware, and how to put this knowledge into practice. In the meanwhile, we also emphasize the education of humanities, such as democracy, morality, culture, and arts.

2. See through the information society

   Because of having a promising and complete scheme for the academic area, the college of Information Technology has obviously become an epitome of Information society.

1. To train students to develop and apply the knowledge and techniques about integrative information technology; to assist students to reach their potentials; and to cultivate management specialists with high problem-solving ability.
2. To integrate all the Information Technology resources; to fully supply all the departments their needs for educating and conducting research; and to offer the industry the services of cooperation and consultation of the most up-to-date information technology techniques.

3. Well-grounded professional internship

Internship has always been the teaching activity that we are most proud of.

1. Our courses emphasize both theories and applications. In order to cope with the needs of the environmental development of the industry, we enrich our courses, such as Information Technology, Information System, Digital Learning Technology, and Multi-media System Design Technology, with practical projects to promote industry development.
2. to cooperate with our computer center to establish software design and development center, and to cultivate specialists with both theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in software developing.
