The Department of Information and Communication
Areas of Concentration
We offer the undergraduate program with two concentrations: Digital Multimedia Design concentration focuses on multimedia programming and design skills; Interactive Edutainment Technology of Network Communication concentration focuses on the technology application of e-learning, computer game, and interactive e-business production. We emphasize the characteristics of combination with technical application, sense of aesthetics and humanities concern.
Research Fields
Our department consists of a professional team with excellent educational programs. Beyond that, in order to accelerate the adoption to industrial globalization and improve our competitive advantage, in the future our department will invite adjoin appointments with international experts in interactive multimedia and e-learning technology through industrial case study and collaborating projects. With the state of the art equipments, such as interactive multimedia and motion picture developing studio, virtual reality lab, visual and sensorial reaction lab, digital music experimental lab, multimedia application programming lab, etcK, students will get the best exposure to the latest technology. In compliment to other research teams in our school in areas of virtual reality multimedia, digital learning, image process, internet communication technology, through collaboration we envision to achieve multi dimensional research capability, and to assist the industrial development and national economic development in information and communication technology.
