  • Presented a special lecture to Chan Jung Christian University faculty and students on Tourism in Tainan and the benefits of the tourism industry for the local and national economies. This lecture was a required simultaneous translation demonstration for fourth-year undergraduate students Managed a $50,000 grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation to initiate an oral history of the hospitality industry program by identifying and acquiring records and other materials relating to the history of the modern hospitality industry; and used the contents of the Hilton Archive in support of the educational programs of UH-HRM
