Accomplishment
The Department constantly receives over 35 National Science Foundation funded projects each year. It is also widely known as one of the top performers in nation-wide competitions. Through providing technical supports to the die and molding industry in Costa Rica, the Department obtains rare experience of working with our government in the foreign affairs. Collectively, there are more than one hundreds of patents filed by the members of faculty so far.
Our accomplishment between 2004 and 2005:
There are 42 research projects funded by the National Science Foundation, Taiwan in 2004. One of the most in Taiwan.
The total fund received is over 40 million in 2004.
Establish a master program for integration of opto-mechatronic systems under the support of the Ministry of Economy, Taiwan in 2004, receiving 4 million of grant.
Establish a master program for precision molding under the support of the Ministry of Economy, Taiwan in 2004, receiving 3 million of grant.
