Introduction to General Affairs

General affairs are classified as sustaining dealings to support the task of academic affairs and student affairs as well as to provide the service regarding the operation of school matters. The major mission for Office of General Affairs is to build a good quality and high level of educating and research surroundings on campus. Besides, Office of General Affairs aims at improving service quality and transaction efficiency of practical work in order to maintain the best quality of campus, which offers the environment of happy learning for students and encouraging research for faculty. According to the nature of business, Office of General Affairs accommodates Document Management Division, Business Affairs Division, Cashier Division, Construction & Maintenance Division, Property Management Division and Environment & Safety Division to expand service and implement business for supporting the functions of other administrative offices and teaching departments.

  1. Document Management Division
  2. The assignment is to deal with document management, file organization, official stamping, paper word-processing, and mail delivery for Document Management Division.

  3. Business Affairs Division
  4. The assignment is to deal with object purchase, vehicle designation, parking direction, classroom reinstallation, auditorium running, schoolyard caring, event preparation, campus safety, and supervision of school-guards and gardeners for Business Affairs Division.

  5. Cashier Division
  6. The assignment is to deal with staff salary payment, student tuition delivery, and the keeping, booking and reporting of bills, cash as well as bank check for Cashier Division.

  7. Construction & Maintenance Division
  8. The assignment is to deal with the designation and supervision of structure design and building construction, routine inspection and repairs of buildings, utility running, communication operation, and safety management of typhoon protection, fire protection and earthquake protection for Construction & Maintenance Division.

  9. Property Management Division
  10. The assignment is to deal with possessions management, belongings guarding, assets organization, land and structure certificate holding, irregular auditing, and updating the account of property for Property Management Division.

  11. Environment & Safety Division
  12. The assignment is to deal with wastewater treatment, waste disposal, toxics management, lab safety, discarded solvent collection, radiation protection, resource recycle, energy saving and water reuse for Environment & Safety Division.
