In KSU, students are required not only to acquire professional knowledge and skills, but also to maintain physical fitness. The University emphasizes a lot on physical education. It has many facilities, including a standardized field-and-track court, a sport field for soccer, rugby and baseball, six PU basketball courts, eight PU volleyball courts, a PU handball court, three PU tennis courts, a grand gymnasium, and an internationally standardized swimming pool. Within the following two years, it will finish its construction of a golf teaching field and a skating rink. KSU also holds inter-departmental athletic meets or games and intercollegiate sport contests in south Taiwan from time to time. Moreover, it annually participates in the competitions sponsored by the Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation and wins countless metals.
