Kun Shan University was officially founded on April 29, 1965, known as Kun Shan Institute of Technology. In August 2000, Kun Shan Institute of Technology was promoted to a technological university. Many new facilities have been constructed on campus, such as library, laboratories, teacher research center, and conference rooms, which all for the same purpose of providing an excellent academic environment for both students and professors.
Over the past decades, Kun Shan has been doing its best to integrate its campus building and offices into a totality so as to create comfortable surroundings for its staff and students. Now the school buildings have been remodeled to accommodate its five colleges: Engineering, Business and Management, Humanities Science, Creative Media, and Information Technology. The accommodation will surely bring KSU into another step of prosperity.
